Inova Heart & Vascular Institute

Healthcare The Inova Heart & Vascular Institute specializes in the full spectrum of diagnostic and interventional cardiac services as well as electrophysiology, cardiac surgery including robotics, heart and lung transplantation and implantation of artificial heart devices.

CTSI installed the Responder IV nurse call system and integrated it to the Hospital's wireless phones. 

This solution helped get critical data, including code blue and telemetry messages, to the proper caregiver in a timely manner. 



Washington Hospital Center

An acute care teaching and research hospital, Washington Hospital Center is the largest non-profit hospital in the Washington metropolitan region and one of four major teaching hospitals in Washington, D.C.

CTSI installed the Responder IV nurse call system and integrated it to wide-area pagers.

The goal of this installation is to improve patient satisfaction scores by improving response times.



Doctor's Community Hospital

Doctors Community Hospital is an award winning, 186-bed acute care medical and surgical hospital.  Founded in 1975 by leading physicians in Prince George's County, the hospital has continued to be in the forefront in providing state-of-the-art medical care while remembering the elemental human touch.

CTSI has enhanced patient and staff communication with the installation of the Responder Nurse Call System in our new Transcare Unit. We have also installed and integrated the Ascom Wireless Phone solution, streamlining the workflow process even more. 

CTSI communications solutions have reduced overhead paging and noise throughout the facility. Patient satisfaction and response time from caregivers has improved as a result.

Montgomery General Hospital

HealthcareMontgomery General Hospital is a 191-bed, not-for-profit community hospital. Founded in 1918 by Jacob Wheeler Bird, MD, Montgomery, General Hospital programs cover a wide range of expertise on the extensive campus and beyond. Their facility includes a wide range of clinical and support services.

CTSI provided a “state of the art” Community Learning Conference Center with distance learning video teleconferencing capabilities.

We performed a variety of patient and visitor communications enhancements including a “lullaby newborn baby announcement”. We also assisted in the upgrade of typical semi-private patient rooms to private patient and family friendly home living suites with all the comforts of home.

Installation of the state-of-the-art conference center has opened up MGH as a conference hub in the community. Many organizations make use of the center, benefiting both parties. The long-standing history within the community and the growth and outreach of the hospital has proven to effectively serve the needs of the four counties between Baltimore and Washington, D.C.
