CTSI provided the custom audiovisual solution for a Department of Defense management briefing and decision support conferencing facility at the Pentagon. The on-going installations include audio, video, switching and control systems, large screen displays, videoconferencing lighting system, and room décor appointments including custom wainscoting, acoustical wall treatments and furnishings.
Food & Drug Administration Central Shared Use, Silver Spring, Md.
The Central Shared Use building is newly constructed building designed to meet the need for additional meeting, research and training space on the FDA campus in Silver Spring. CTSI installed full audiovisual systems for the CSU's conference rooms, auditoriums, lecture halls, videoconferencing suites and training rooms, fully controlled by sophisticated AMX programming. The incorporation of a central control room allows for video feeds to be distributed to overflow areas within the building.
Uniformed Services University Medical Simulation Center, Bethesda, Md.
The Uniformed Services University Medical Simulation Center is a branch of the military's healthcare system and the industry leader in clinical skills training for its medical doctors. CTSI was responsible for a timely and successfully transfer and redesign of the USUMSC's audiovisual system upon its facility relocation. This included sophisticated AMX control systems for 16 touch panels, room upgrades and planning for the next generation of the facilities video systems.
USAF Dougherty Conference Center, Offutt AFB
The conference center is a large high level Air Force briefing room and stage with 90 separate simultaneously live desk microphones. CTSI recommended a control system solution over individual push-to-talk microphones, whereby solving the facilities feedback issues. A custom designed Crestron control system monitors and controls real-time status of all the microphones.
